Delphi and Jones Day advise Sherwin Williams in the acquisition of Becker Acroma Industrial Wood Coatings

Delphi and Jones Day advise The Sherwin Williams Company in relation to the acquisition of Becker Acroma Industrial Wood Coatings from AB Wilhelm Becker. The transaction is expected to be completed in the third quarter of this year. Delphi's team is led by Per Berglöf, responsible partner, David Aversten, partner, senior associate Rickard Samuelsson and Michael Juhlin (corporate); Elisabeth Legnerfält, Jenny Craaford (competition law); Jenny Waltré, Emil Dicksved (IT-agreements), Erica Nobel and Daniel Drott (environmental law).

American The Sherwin Williams Company, with its head office in Cleveland, Ohio, is listed as an American Fortune 500 company and produces, distributes and sells laminate and related products to resellers and professional customers in the industrial and trade sectors. The acquisition means that Sherwin Williams may enforce its global presence and extend the service to its customers.

Becker Acroma, with its head office in Stockholm, is with more than 900 employees and an annual turnaround of approximately USD 300 million, one of the world's largest producers of industrial paints and coatings. 

Jones Day's team was led by My Linh Vu-Grégoire, Ralf Ek and Philipp von Raven. The transaction in full concerns 14 jurisdictions across the world.
