Elisabeth Eklund Appointed as Non-Governmental Advisor to the International Competition Network (ICN)
Elisabeth Eklund, partner and head of Delphi’s EU and Competition Law practice group, has been appointed by the Swedish Competition Authority as one of several Non-Governmental Advisors (NGAs) for the Authority’s participation in the International Competition Network (ICN).
Elisabeth Eklund will serve as an external advisor in the Cartel Working Group, which focuses on issues related to the detection and prevention of cartels.
– Being entrusted with the role of external advisor to the Swedish Competition Authority within the framework of ICN’s important work is a great honor. It is a responsibility I take very seriously, and I look forward to contributing my experience to the important efforts to prevent and combat cartel.
ICN is an informal network of over 100 competition authorities worldwide with the common goal to address issues related to the application of competition rules and competition policies. The Non-Governmental Advisors consist of lawyers, in-house counsels, competition economists, academics, judges, among others. The term of the appointment runs from 1 June 2025 to 31 May 2027.
