New standard agreement for IT industry

Delphi has assisted The Swedish Association of Software Industry (SPI) in preparing new standard agreements for the IT industry. Recently published are standard agreements for cloud services and software-as-a-service as well as a partner agreement. The aim of these is to make it simpler for Swedish companies to sell modern IT services and to be able to grow through partnerships.

During 2011, Delphi and SPI have produced standard terms and conditions for cloud sourcing and software-as-a-service. A partner agreement has also been published for the distribution of software and support. Delphi also previously cooperated on the preparation of agreements for consultancy services, support and maintenance.

The work involved interviewing and gathering material from industry representatives. Agne Lindberg at Delphi has been responsible for the project:

“The business world and the software industry have developed and with them, customer needs. This has given rise to a demand for these agreements. Delphi and SPI have together created in this suite of agreements a complete tool kit for the Swedish software industry, enabling it to sell its services and products securely. In the near future we will be providing training in the use of the agreements.”

Peter Bergh at The Swedish Association of Software Industry, comments that: “Working with Delphi has been very positive and their industry know-how has been extremely valuable in this project.”
