Delphi advised Simris Alg AB (publ) in connection with an IPO

Delphi has been legal advisor to Simris Alg AB (publ) when implementing a diversification of ownership through a public offering of new shares in connection with a listing on NASDAQ First North.

 

The offering, which resulted in oversubscription, provided the company with a capital contribution of approx 50 million SEK and more than 3,000 new shareholders. The first day of trading for the shares is expected to be 22 April 2016.

Simris Alg is a multiple award-winning pioneer company producing omega-3-supplements from farmed algae. The Company was founded in 2011 by KTH researcher Fredrika Gullfot and operates a one-of-a-kind algae farming facility for omega-3 production in Hammenhög, Österlen. The products are sold under the proprietary Simris® Algae Omega-3 brand as a plant based premium alternative to fish oil. The company’s business philosophy is permeated by an unswerving sustainability perspective, and is based on the synergy between state of the art technology, branding, and lifestyle.

Delphi’s team was led by Micael Karlsson and Anders Jemail assisted by Kristian Fredrikson and Therese Jönsson.
