New law proposed to extend liability for environmental crime in waste management
Senior associate Christian Härdgård and associate Christina Hellström report on the change in law which is proposed to come into effect on 1 May 2016. This will extend the range of environmental crime offences when managing waste. The proposal means that all management of waste that can cause pollution that is harmful for animals, plants or human health, will be punishable.
