Delphi advises Volati AB in connection with AB Svensk Bilprovning’s sale of the southwest network of inspection stations

Delphi advises Volati AB as M&A, finance, intellectual property, regulatory and anti-trust counsel in connection with AB Svensk Bilprovning’s sale of the southwest network of inspection stations in Sweden. The transaction is subject to approval by Swedac and the Swedish Competition Authority.

 

AB Svensk Bilprovning has divided its motor vehicle inspection business into two networks of inspection stations and has on 25 January this year agreed to sell the southwest network of inspection stations. The ownership of the network will on 18 March 2013 be transferred to FBYB Holding AB and be operated through Besikta Bilprovning AB. FBYB Holding AB is owned by the former minority shareholders in AB Svensk Bilprovning. After the sale of the southwest network of inspection stations the Swedish state will be the sole owner of AB Svensk Bilprovning.

Volati AB and FBYB Holding AB have agreed that Volati AB shall be in charge of operating the business which includes more than 50 inspection stations. Volati AB and FYBYB Holding AB have further agreed that Volati AB shall have the option to acquire the business during 2015.
