Delphi is representing OK ekonomisk förening in connection with its sale of parts of its car dealership operations in Sweden

OK ekonomisk förening is owned by approximately 900 000 members in Sweden.  The association, founded in 1926, owns 50% of the fuel company OKQ8 AB and has got an annual turnover of approximately SEK 9.5 billion (not counting OKQ8). Other operations within the OK-group are real property ownership and management, pellets manufacturing, publishing, car dealership and IT consultancy.

The transaction includes OK ekonomisk förening’s wholly-owned subsidiaries Biva AB, Biva Bergslagen AB, ANA Bil AB, Bilcity i Kristianstad AB and VRT Bil AB. The companies’ operate as car dealers for several different brands, including BMW, Mini, Toyota, Opel, Subaru, Nissan, KIA, Fiat, Jeep, Mitsubishi, Alfa Romeo, Lancia and Isuzu, and has got a combined annual turnover of approximately SEK 2 billion. The buyer of Biva AB and Bilcity i Kristianstad AB is Hedin Bil and the buyer of Biva Bergslagen AB, ANA Bil AB and VRT Bil AB is Bilia. The transaction also comprises separate sales of Biva AB’s BMW dealership in Falun to EM-Bilar and its dealership in Borlänge and KIA dealership in Falun to Björkmans Bil.

The transaction is subject to customary regulatory approvals.
