Delphi has advised Volati AB as M&A, finance, intellectual property, regulatory and anti-trust counsel in connection with AB Svensk Bilprovning’s sale of the southwest network of inspection stations in Sweden. The transaction was closed 18 March 2013.
AB Svensk Bilprovning has divided its motor vehicle inspection business into two networks of inspection stations and agreed on 25 January this year to sell the southwest network of inspection stations. The ownership of the network has on 18 March 2013 been transferred to FBYB Holding AB to be operated by Besikta Bilprovning AB. FBYB Holding AB is owned by the former minority shareholders in AB Svensk Bilprovning. After the sale of the southwest network of inspection stations the Swedish state will be the sole owner of AB Svensk Bilprovning.
Volati AB is as of 18 March 2013 in charge of operating the business which includes more than 50 inspection stations. Volati AB have the option to acquire the business in 2015.
