Delphi advisor in connection with lenders rescuing residential development project from bankruptcy

Advokatfirman Delphi has acted as legal advisor to a group of lenders in connection with the bankruptcy of residential project companies in Lindvallen, Sälen, following their own bankruptcy filings. Delphi’s team assisted the lenders in enforcing pledges over shares in a group structure under bankruptcy, replacing the boards of directors in the bankrupt project companies, and subsequently successfully appealing and having the bankruptcies overturned. The project is now being continued by the lenders, who have regained control of the previously bankrupt companies from the bankruptcy trustee.

The matter is, as far as is known, unique and has involved a wide range of complex legal issues within the areas of insolvency, real estate, property, and corporate law. The work was carried out under significant time pressure, following the bankruptcy decisions rendered on 25 July 2025 and within the three-week appeal period.
