GDPR-dagen is now a registered trademark – Advokatfirman Delphi has exclusive rights to the name

Advokatfirman Delphi has successfully registered GDPR-dagen as a trademark in Sweden. GDPR-dagen – Delphi’s major data protection conference – has brought together hundreds of participants each year since 2019 and has become a natural meeting place for everyone working with GDPR, data protection, and digitalization issues.

With the trademark registration, Delphi takes another step to establish GDPR-dagen as one of Europe’s leading forums and meeting places for data protection. The registration also confirms Delphi’s strong position in GDPR and digitalization.

– We are very happy and proud that GDPR-dagen is now a registered trademark. Our goal when we started the conference was to give participants practical tips and knowledge they can use in their daily work – no ‘fluff’, just concrete tools, says Agnes Hammarstrand, lawyer and partner at Delphi and one of the initiators of GDPR-dagen. As a person born and raised in Gothenburg, one of the purposes of the conference was also to attract data protection professionals from all over Sweden to the west coast and create activity in our industry here in Gothenburg. We want to show that Gothenburg is a natural hub for knowledge exchange and networking within data protection.

Since its inception in 2019, GDPR-dagen has served both as a meeting place and as a platform for sharing practical tips and experiences. Over the years, several of Sweden’s leading experts have participated as speakers, alongside internationally recognized data protection professionals.

The next edition of GDPR-dagen will take place on 18 March 2026 in Gothenburg and is expected to gather over 300 participants from across the country.
