Helene Andersson appointed Non-Governmental Advisor to the European Commission in the International Competition Network

Helene Andersson, partner at Delphi, has been appointed by the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Competition (DG COMP) as a Non-Governmental Advisor (NGA) in the International Competition Network (ICN) for the 2026–2027 ICN year.

Selected as part of an exclusive group of 18 international experts, Helene Andersson will contribute her expertise to the ICN’s Unilateral Conduct Working Group and Agency Effectiveness Working Group. With over 25 years of experience in EU and competition law, she handles the full spectrum of matters, including compliance programs, dawn raids, cartel investigations, merger filings, court proceedings, and state aid cases before Swedish and EU authorities. Alongside her practice at Delphi, she holds a PhD and is an Associate Professor in European Law at Stockholm University, specializing in investigatory powers and procedural safeguards in antitrust investigations.

The ICN is a global network of over 100 competition authorities dedicated to advancing effective competition law enforcement and policy worldwide. As an NGA, Helene will support DG COMP and the network by providing strategic insights on complex enforcement and procedural issues.

– It is a great honor to be appointed as an NGA by DG COMP as the ICN marks its 25th anniversary. I look forward to contributing my practical and research background to support DG COMP and engage with international colleagues on key enforcement and policy challenges, says Helene Andersson.

The appointment runs for the 2026–2027 term, with working group initiatives launching this September.
