Delphi legal advisor to Eurobio Scientific in connection with the acquisition of CareDx’s lab products business
Delphi has acted as local counsel to Eurobio Scientific in connection with its entry into an agreement to acquire the lab products business from CareDx. The transaction is subject to customary closing conditions and regulatory approvals, with a preliminary purchase price of USD 170 million.
CareDx is a United States based global precision medicine company dedicated to improving outcomes for transplant patients and advancing organ health. CareDx’s lab products business is a global IVD (in-vitro diagnostics) kit business which includes developing, manufacturing and selling e.g., IVD PCR kits, IVD NGS-based kits for transplant recipients and IVD NGS-based monitoring assays for solid organ and stem cell transplant recipients.
Eurobio Scientific is a leading French group in in-vitro medical diagnostics for transplantation, oncology and infectious diseases. The Eurobio group has approximately 290 employees and four production units based in the Paris region, in Germany, in the Netherlands and in the United States, and several affiliates based in Europe. The integration of CareDx’s lab products division strengthens Eurobio’s presence in key markets, including the United States, Europe and Asia-Pacific, while enhancing its ability to serve both research and clinical laboratories.
Delphi’s team mainly consisted of Elisabeth Eklund, Rickard Isacson, Glenn Nyström, Kristian Fredrikson, Magnus Berterud, Dahae Roland, Amanda Bos Ekman, Karl Hammarlund and Ida Nordmark.
