EasyPark’s acquisition of Inteleon (SMS Park) received unconditional Phase II clearance in Sweden on 23 March 2020

The Swedish Competition Authority unconditionally approved EasyPark AB’s acquisition of Inteleon Holding AB (SMS Park) on 23 March 2020 after a Phase II investigation. The merger was below the thresholds for mandatory filing but could still be tried by the Authority due to the owners’ turnover. The parties were ordered to file for clearance by the Swedish Competition Authority in October 2019, following complaints from competitors.
